RE: Yo, everyone, who are those Colorado drivers?

Rick, I drive around with my driving lights on during the day as a
matter of safety. I feel that with my lights on, I can be better seen,
and therefore less likely to be crashed into. I also notice cars earlier
in my peripheral vision when their lights are on. Motorcycles are
_required_ to drive with their lights on for this very reason (I think
that's what I read...). It's just my preference, and I too know a lot of
yuppies who do it cuz it's the fashionable thing to do. Doesn't sound
like a very good reason to be using up the hours on their bulbs, but I
won't argue with them because of the (small, but present) safety factor,
IMHO. :-)

One last aimless question to the group as a whole...why in the

world has it become the "YUPPY" thing to run a round with
driving
lights on all of the time. We in the U.S. have some of the worst

restrictions on lighting preformance in the world, so to
compensate
these people seem to feel they must run around town all day long

miss-using the only good lights they? Help me understand this.

Thanks for listening to this non-quattro material-
