has anyone on the list with an ur-quattro ever contemplated upgrading the g60
twin caliper brakes to a 4-pot 300mm setup? if so, i'd appreciate your
observations and comments.

I've thought about it and upgraded to drilled-discs F&R and better pads, but that's
it so far. They are now adequate for street and easy track use. If this were to be
a serious track car then better upgrades would be nice, but it's not. I will end up
with seriously upgraded brakes on the 4KQ RR car though. The 4KQ brakes are
basically the same as the ur-q's from a rotor/caliper/pad perspective. I'll likely go
with a complete big rotor/disc/pad upgrade as described here on the list by
others. Best quote so far: $1400. It'll be a 'next season' thing for me ($$$).
