_It_Was_Not_False_.  Many generalizations may be false, but this one was not.
Don't say something that you don't know to be true.  If you would have been
there, you would have seen:
Mid-50's white men driving closer to my as# than my own Hanes are to me.
In my case, the generalization was VERY TRUE.
