Re: The Idle Shakes

idling at 9,000 to 10,000 rpm is bad.......I think you meant 900 to 1,000
rpm.....anyways..........how are the vacuum hoses on the engine....the
crankcase breathing / hoses which due to oil exposure become soft and
brittle....remember your engine's fuel injection and engine management system
wants the air to come from the intake..........not from vacuum
leaks......check all those hoses most of the culprit hoses are towards the
firewall attaching to the valve cover with plastics, one of them runs down
towards the side of the block check those guys out......poor idle can be
caused by improper vacuum or air leaks.....

next check your ISV - Idle Stabilization Valve......usualyy cheaper to clean
his contacts and see how he is doing.......he is located towards the grille on
the fuel injection side of the block attached between the air filter box/right
headlight assembly area and the engine block/valve cover.......he has a black
rubber u which has him mounted to the block....be careful with the connector
cables but you make sure that the contacts are clean......

there is more to check feel free to send me e-mail direct if you like......
