Carbon fibre driveshaft?

What the logic is, I know not. I _do_ know that I couldn't see a centre
differential on either Biela's or Bintcliffe's car when we went round the
workshop, and I lay on my back under Biela's 1995 practice car for almost an
hour without finding a centre differential. The propshaft is _huge_, BTW,
about 5" in diameter and very light - it weighs about six pounds.
