I know that Callaway used to make turbo kits for VW's and Audi's.  They
no longer 
make them, and they sold the rights (or plans or tooling or whatever) to
produce 
the VW kits to New Dimensions, who have (I'm told) taken it from there
and refined 
them.

They did not sell the kits for the Audi's to anybody, and they don't
have any plans 
to produce anything for Audi's.  I have an email from Callaway regarding
this.

There is at least one lister that has a Callaway kit on his 4kq.  He's
selling it 
as a matter of fact.  I could dig up my email to him if anyone's
interested.  Or 
he could respond himself if he's reading.

Seems to me that it would be easier to add a belt driven supercharger to
the N/A 
motor, if you're not going to convert to a complete factory turbo
motor.  That 
way you don't have to worry about running new exhaust from the head back
and stuff.

It would be nice if there was a currently produced bolt on turbo kit for
our N/A 
5 cylinders.  Images of 20valve turbo Coupe Quattros jump into my head.

I heard the Callaway kits were available as an option for new cars at
certain 
dealers.  Other listers know more about this.

That's about all I know.  I'd like to know more.
