About 2 weeks ago, I recently purchased a new set of Potenza RE900's. My 1990 CQ
was in for state inspection, and the tread was really close to the minimum. I
wasn't looking for anything expensive, and my mechanic recommended these. My
driving habits for this car are limited to city/suburb driving, with little
highway travel. So far, I'm pleased with them. They are fairly quiet and did ok
in the snow. My mechanic got them for about $70 each, including shipping. I
chose these over the RE930's because of the extra 10k miles in the warranty and
I didn't need the extra speed rating. If you want the H-Rated, the RE930's are
probably a good choice.
