Someone posted a request on this a few days back.  I checked the fiche today
and couldn't find any details.  On my car the black paint isn't completely
flat black, but it definitely isn't gloss ... is matte black different from
flat?  Anyway, the horizontal surface of the trunk (boot) lid is black from
the point of inflection under the spoiler to the edge near the rear window.
Along the sides the black paint is used for the door frame and frame around
the rear window from the trim at the bottom of the window to the water channel
over the door.  The door is painted black on the inside as well as the
outside.  My car is an early '83 model ... perhaps the newer models might be a
bit different (e.g. the '85s with the body colored spoiler).

As far as getting info on the paint itself, you might want to check with a
paint shop that has close ties to Audis.
