As a '91 200Q owner and having looked at and driven several '90 V8s (which
seem to be the only V8s you can find out here) I can agree with most of what
you say.  I think the V8 has a little more snob appeal.  It also feels (and
I suppose is) a little heavier.  However, at Denver altitude and above it is
really a dog next to the 91 200TQ except when you can keep the revs up in
the power band.
