quattro quirks part II (Perplexing problems!!!)

Check the clutch master/slave cylinders. The master is inside the car and
leaks onto the carpet. And your shoe. Pull down the cladding in the driver's
footwell and see if it's soaked in fluid.

Bad engine mounting - engine twists under torque and the exhaust fouls the
driveline. Less tolerance with a 4" exhaust - engine mountings have to be
_real_ close to spec. Also check that the centre UJ on the prop shaft has been
greased.
