You do not need to buy the phone from Audi. It is designed to work
with any Motorola phone. In the A4 I have a Motorola DPC550 flip
phone with a 3 watt booster kit. I did it myself, with the hardest
part running the antenna wire. It works great (although the voice
quality through the built-in microphone leaves something to be desired).
