Could someone explain this to me, please. I do understand the warmup-in-winter
part, heating warmer inside air is easier than cold outside air. But. In Texas
(don't notice this very much in Idaho :) you can get in your car on a hot sunny
day and it's *hotter* inside than outside. Now why would you want to try to
cool this superheated air instead of only really-hot outside air? Once you get
the inside air temperature lower than outside, then going to recirc makes
sense. But I see lots of people put on "MAX" == recirc as soon as they get in
the car. Roll down the windows, get the superheated air out while A/C is on
no-recirc, then go to recirc after a minute or so - am I only the only one who
does this? Maybe I'm just a control freak.

Still missing the individual buttons for recirc, floor, def, A/C, and each dash
vent with a closure on the '73 olvoV 164E,
(plus heater valve and fan switch)
