pictures of RS2 EM
Graydon:
>I thought I saw a picture of the RS2 manifold the other day. It had the

page 86, March '98 _european car_ - four pages past Sarge's car, the Hopped-up S6 article.
Side by side, the RS2 has runners more in a plane with WG-mounting pipe sticking out; whereas stocker has 1 & 5 runners emptying into the WG pipe rather than closer to the turbo mount.
Ok, because I'm a crazy scanning guy, here's the picture (it's the one on the right, in case you can't tell from my lovely description): http://www.srv.net/~hah/audi/rs2em.jpg
Does Ned's stage iv use exactly an RS2 manifold, does he extrude-hone it, or is it something else entirely?
Where are turbo inlets located other than near the middle of the manifold on an I5, BTW?
Saw some local's V8 (dark blue) at the dealer tonight when dropping off Dad's 944T for TPS replacement. It's a slush though (the V8, I mean of course) - I was too bemused to look inside when I saw it at the video store a couple weeks ago.
On the subject of deep snow, there hasn't been any on the roads this winter for me to try out. Ask me about the drift *on the road* that Dad lost a Rabbit in a few years back, though.
One of those digest guys,
