Differences kh/mc

I was thinking about something. My kh is approx.2.1 liters.8.3-1
compression and 1.5 bar of boost stock. The 2nd gen mc had 7.8, 2.2
liters, and boost most qlisters say 1.3 bar. KH-140 hp stock. MC-158-162.
What are the differences? Why does the mc on less boost and compression
make more power? Is the turbo cam the same from the kh to the 2nd gen mc?
What is more capable of making power ? BTW: The 2nd gen mc is the 2.2
liter, 86-up motor prior to the k24 powered mc.
