MPG on Audis..always better than EPA

Hey all,
I was just figuring out the milage on the new A4, and realized that every Audi
i have ever owned (5), i would always get 3 mpg better than the EPA estimate
if not more. And i do drive my cars pretty fast, like an Audi should be
driven! Here's the record of the milage on my last couple of Audis that i
still remember the milage on:

Model EPA Actual
1987 Coupe GT 19/25 23/28
Coupe Quattro (before TAP chip): 18/24 22/27
A4 1.8t NA/NA 27/33

Funny things is, on the EPA milage estimates, it says your milage will most
likely be worse!! I remember a scandal from about 10 years ago where i
believe it was the EPA was busted bumping up the milage on domestic cars by 1
or 2 mpg to help them compete with the Jap cars. ANyone else remember hearing
that?

Either way, you cannot beat the A4 for being quick and sipping such little
fuel in the process. Now, i wonder what my milage will be once i get the
200hp chip installed.....
