Sport Quattro...at MAG, Columbus, OH

This message is mainly for Columbus area list members to tell them a Sport
Quattro can be seen locally, at the MAG Audi dealer.  But maybe others are
interested to know of it's existence.  How many of these were ever imported
to the U.S.

I was looking over the offerings at MAG this afternoon and the used sales
guy, upon realizing I knew the difference between an S6 and an A6,
mentioned the Sport Quattro parked, out of sight, behind the service
garage.  I was skeptical, but sure enough, there it is.  A red 1984 Sport
Quattro.  Odometer looks like it reads 12K miles.  

Details are sketchy, but he said it's in for service after being sold
recently by the original owner to someone related to the owners of MAG.
Original owner of the car was the owner of Mid-Ohio race track.  No idea
how much longer it will be there.
