Re: Coupe (non-q) radiator?

I just replaced my radiator in my 84 Cpe GT with a unit from German
Parts and Restoration. My father checked around for me and found that
that was the cheapest place. (also looked at BLAU and a local place)

Uh, oh. Your gages actually move? Mine stays pegged to the bottom for
both (Oil and Coolant) whenever I drive. My brother (previous owner)
says not to worry, since they worked last summer but I am curious if
this is something wrong or if it is only the cold temps.

$225+$14(shipping) from GRP for me. Have no idea on repair but the job I
had done by a local place (repair) was not up to snuff and only lasted
long enough to think about and buy a new radiator.
BTW putting it in was quite easy except for the little rubber bushing on
the bottom which fell apart. Maybe someone knows what I am talking about
and can give you a hint on if you should order that too if you buy a new
radiator. I don't know what it is called and I am not sure if it is
supposed to be sacrificial.
Hope this helps

P.S. Try to avoid splashing anti-freeze all over your face, it isn't the
most enjoyable. :-)
