they don't work anymore!  You should fix them, esp. the coolant gauge,
you want to know if anything is wrong before it blows up in your face...
Check the sender in the kitchen with a pan of water on the stove (I can
send you resistances to check for if you need them), check the
continuity of the wire from sender to gauge, and test the gauge if you
can.  i used a dummy resistor.  As I recall, BTW, the resisitances are
around 400 ohms cold, down to around 70-80 ohms "operating" and 50 ohms
"overtemp"...  (make me look 'em up if you don't trust my aging memory
planks)
