Re: CIS-E III Questions.

Thanks for all of the responses..
As of right now, I have rigged my digital multi-meter up so I can read
the output to the differential pressure regulator while driving. After fine
tuning the fuel mixture to 0ma per the service manual, I've discovered that
the system is pulling back the enrichment signal when the car has this power
loss situation. The numbers under hard accel jump to +7to +10ma, and will drop
slightly when it has the problem. I've come to the conclusion that there may
be some type of intermittant breach in the wiring between the air flow sensor
pot., or in the 02 sensor circuit. As I've stated previously, the 02 sensor is
almost brand new, (No change after replacement) and I've found that the wiring
harness to the airflow sensor pot. to be lacking in any slack, so I will get
into a little further testing.
Has anyone else had experience with testing via the Diff. press.
regulator signal and driving? I am going to hook it up to a friends 87.5 coupe
soon and see what type of numbers that one produces. The Bentley manual is
vague about this information.
As for the binding, when accelerating hard in a sharp turn, such as
leaving a parking lot to merge into traffic, the steering has to be brought
back to center forcibly. This is not normal fwd torque steer. It will happen
even in a straight line making minor course correction a chore. I've replaced
all of the crappy worn out bushes and so on, and it has had a recent and
proper wheel alingment. Someone has suggested bad engine mounting? Any
comments?

 Thanks - Jon.
