COUPE QUATTRO HEATER TEST

Dan, this is principally for you, but thought others might be interested.

Test of 1990 Coupe Quattro heater:

Car left outside all night  in 28 Deg F temp, cloudy but dry AM.  Started car,
drove to work.  When water temp was up to approx. first thin mark, stuck
a digital thermometer in passenger side dash vent, placed climate control at
"ECON", turned temp up to "HI", and watched thermometer.  Blower
kicked into high, after approx. 5-7  minutes temperature at vent was over 
120 Deg F and stabilizing.  By then was at work, so quit the test.

Car keeps me comfortable at pretty much any temp down to minus 20
deg F so long as engine is warm; only problem is brilliant sunny winter
days when can't get syustem to put enough heat to floor vents.
