Hi all! This car is driving me to
drink! Or at least a lot more than usual. I've had my 85 4ksQ for
about 4 months now and have already sunk about $1,200 into it-(center support
bearing, cooling system, and other costly miscellaneous fixes). Oh, well.
Now the new problems:
First, the hood release cable snapped at the lever. I was told that the hood can be released by pulling on the wire w/ pliers. Are these hard to replace? (the hood latches at both sides). Second, driver door weather stripping/molding is worn- lots of air leaks. Any way to ensure a snug fit? Any special glues needed? *If this message posts with all the weird symbols and in a
long format- why is this happening?
