RE: '86 4kcs (not quattro) oil pressure light



Since he has an oil pressure gauge, does he care if the high pressure
test is working at all?  If not, it should be as simple as locating the
oil pressure controller in the relay box and pulling it out.  From my
check on the Bentley for the cars I have the low pressure switch is
wired in parallel to the high pressure controller and will continue to
operate as most every other car in the world does ...

You may want to confirm this with the wiring diagram in Bentley for the
car in question ...
