update on my parts search

Just to let you guys know what is going on in my quest to save my 
quattro.  I have determined that the only way for me to get back into a 
quattro is to save the one i have, by using my connections, ie the 
quattro list, and the body guy who owes my dad money...

Anyway, i have found a guy with an 86 4kQ to sell me his whole car, with 
some spare parts for 500 bucks, and get this, he may include a set of 4 
koni reds with it..hehe...only 20k miles on them...not bad eh?>

Now i am deciding right now whether to use his car as the source of 
parts, or if i should use my white one as the source of parts.  I think 
that he said that his car is oceanic blue, but he has front end damage, 
and some interior wear...i will have to take a look, but he also only has 
120k miles, 1 year newer car, and a color i love...so i dunno, either 
way, i think im set, i will end up with an awesome handling car..hehe...

anyway, that is my status as of now...
