exhaust manifold

Fellow Audi fanatics,
    It seems that my second exhaust manifold is cracked (I replaced the 1st
one myself when I bought the car).  The engine is loud when its cold, gets
quieter as it warms up but still ticks when revved.  My question is where
can I get the 2 piece manifold that everyone talks about and for how much?
Can my old manifold be repaired, welded?  I don't want to be changing
manifolds every five years!!  TIA
