Re: Antenna Woes
I tried a hirsch unit on my car right away cause i live in a
fringe area. It is 31" - what antennas are supposed to be - but
it wasn't as good as the stock unit (Fuch or some name like
that) The hirsch was like 60 bucks and was pretty cheap looking
compared to the stock hirsh that i had on my old car - BMW 528e.
I also have been using a antenna amplifier unit that I bought
about 20 years ago - Antenna Specialists - bought at Radio Shack
- it still makes a significant difference.n I returned the
hirsch and am running stock - which isn't as good as my BMW's
setup - but its OK.
