Antenna Woes

I have the power antenna in my 87 4kcsq.

While it still does the up/down thing fine, albeit a bit slowly, the
connector is cut at the shielding.

The connector that I'm talking about is the one that screws on to the base
of the antenna and looks similar to a coax plug (but isn't), and runs up
to the stereo.

Is there a good source for these connectors and the tools required to
re-attach (crimper, at least...) it to the cable?  Or, shall I just scrap
the antenna and get a different one?
