Any opinions on Monroe SensaTrac gas shocks?

Hi!

Even though my 200t has other major problems that I should be putting
money aside for, I have managed to accumulate some cash to finally
have my shocks renewed (I haven't done it since I got the car 7 months
ago, and heck knows how long before that they were done, and the car
has a slight nose-up appearance and runs like a boat!). I am going to
put in Gabriel GasRyder shocks as I have a contact at the Gabriel
outlet who might be supplying the whole set for a mere $100. However,
I have been given a brochure by a NAPA store for Monroe SensaTrac
gas shocks and would like to know what experiences Audi owners
who have used the shocks have had with them. Do they provide a stiffer
ride? I know the Gabriel shocks are pretty stiff and have good
cornering abilities, but what are these Monroe things like?
