Torsen question (was: Quaife Differentials)

I have a real question.  Can a torsen diff from a different model Audi 
be used in a Coupe GT tranny?

When I sold my '85 Coupe GT, they guy (who now has a Coupe Quattro), 
said he wanted to put a torsen diff in it.

Is this possible?  Would it serve as a 'limited slip' diff, that the 
Coupe GT currently doesn't have?
