I use a vacuum bleeder setup which is a somewhat more sophisticated version
of the ingenious shopvac contraption. It is a hand vacuum pump which also
works great for testing vacuum motors and vacuum hoses for leaks (not that
we need this on Audis!). It does a great job at bleeding and flushing the
brake system and gives good control of the bleeding process since everything
is done at the bleeder valve. The entire kit sold for $60 CDN at the local
CTC store.
