Three suggestions:

Since the car is in Brentwood you could try Stuttgart Automotive in West
LA (310) 473-4529, A bit further but recommended would be Automotive Pit
stop in Sherman Oaks (check 818 area code information). They did my
pre-sale check on my first Quattro and did a very thorough job. Also,
CPA Motorcars in Van Nuys (818) 885-5000. Bob owns a V8 Quattro,
specializes in Quattros (and Alfa 164's), and might be able to help.
