Good News.... No lifter clatter

Thought I would let you know that I have conquered the hydraulic clatter on
my fine '87 5KQ.
I used to sell an oil fortifier called "Excel" which was made in Texas.  I
had a few gallons of product left so I put it into Audi (5 ozs.) right after
I bought it last month.  Before the "Clatter" was loud until after 2 or 3
minutes of running.  Now it sounds like a Buick...just purrs.  Now you do
hear a little clatter at start-up but it is gone in 2 or 3 seconds.  The
Excel is not a coating or Teflon product but 100% petroluem based & it makes
your oil 5 to 6 times stronger.  It also top lubes on dry starts.  Another
benefit is that it will clean carbon off of the piston rings. (takes awhile
to do this) ...
