mmmmm....
actually the btcc has only this year (1998) introduced a control tyre. when
audi was racing, there were no 'control' tyres. tyre size and width was
reglated, that was all. audi was supplied by dunlop, most of the others by
michelin. audi has swapped to michelin this year (after trialing it on piro's
a4 fwd last year)...
