I have found some of the posts interesting, some of them just real
long.  Not trying to regulate the content here, just hearing the same
things over and over.

In a nutshell, if a certain characteristic is able to be repeated
under same or similar circumstances, across a variety of torsen
equipped cars, then it seems you have defined a trait of torsen cars. 
Fine.  911 example was a very good point.  If you like the handling of
a rear-engine car, great.  If it scares you, either don't drive it, or
don't drive it like you drove it when it scared you.  Seems simple to
me.
