Quite possibly ... unfortunately, Audi is the only manufacturer (to my
knowledge, anyway) that's ever used a Torsen center diff in a series
production car. Hmmm ... wonder why that is? Surely the other
manufacturers are familiar with them and if they're the be-all, end-all that
some folks claim, you'd think another company (perhaps even several other
companies!) would have chosen to capitalize on this... ;^)

With regard to my autocrossing experiences, you're correct, of course ...
but what about avoiding an accident during normal everyday driving? Some of
the most skillful driving I've done *didn't* occur on a racetrack...
(Why, oh why, didn't I buy that FWD 200 instead and spare myself all this
grief?! I take everything back ... it was all a dream, I swear. Torsens
are great; all hail the Torsen; hip-hip-hooray; two-four-six-eight, who do
we appreciate: Torsen, Torsen, Torsen ... Yeah! Wo-hoo...)
