We don't know that.  I have 'ALZ' on the sticker, and 'ALZ' on the side of the 
housing - whatever's in the 'ALZ', it _was_ factory-fitted.
 
As I say, the parts microfiche says 'limited slip' but the drawing is not what 
I would normally recognise as such.  There _is_ a difference from the earlier 
differentials - there's a spring-loaded pin in the cross shaft (the one that 
carries the pinions).  I don't (yet) know what this does or how it does what it 
does.  As far as I can see, apart from slightly different geometry for the 
external lock actuator, there's no other difference.  A lot of the parts are 
common.
