Re: 5kcstq shift boot (marginal torsen content)
Well, yeah, maybe, but the symptoms are nowhere near that severe. The
transmission hasn't had even the *slightest* tendency to pop out of gear.
Being suspicious of linkage problems, I made a specific request of my
mechanic to check out same. He reported that everything was completely
normal. I tend to believe him, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been
unintentionally (or intentionally, for that matter) mislead by a mechanic.
