Eric Maxon, our resident manicured mechanic (his description), posted some
info about reassembling the VDO speedo: "alignment mark is 15 degrees CCW
of stop post"

Thanks! Thank You! Gracias! Danke Schon! (etc) That's EXACTLY the
information I needed to reassemble my spare speedo so I can have a working
odometer for the first time in two years!
