I use hp/tork interchangeably. I understand that hp is just tork x
RPM. 3% more hp is going to be 3% more tork and vice versa.

Since I did the 3" exhaust first, and then the EFI, I can comment on
that. I feel that the 3" exhaust got me about the same amount of
performance improvement as the EFI. They were additive too, mostly.
Man, I _want_ a bigger turbo and a header!
Lets see, if I did the EFI only without the 3" exhaust, then maybe you
would be right in that the 3" exhaust got me more hp over the basic car's
162hp.
I figure its all a package though. I can get a few small improvements
from little tweeks here and there, but the big bang will come from
combining everything optimally. That is _very_ tough to do well. I'm
not there yet by any means.
