The notorious clicking sound you hear from the exhaust manifolds on the
5k
cars ( 84,85 & some 86's in particular ) are usually caused by the
exhaust studs
breaking due to the cast iron mated to alloy thing. When replacing those
studs it's
best to have the exhaust manifold planned at a machine shop as they
normally warp.
