A couple of years ago the secondary on my throttle body stuck open. 
Real PITA - idle around 3000 rpm makes take off unpredictable, but there
wasn't much power behind that 3k so the reavs would drop to some random
lower figure as I let out the clutch... WD-40 and a neighbor who knew
what was wrong fixed it.
