both thule and yakima make excellent rack systems.  for less than $300
you will have a very nice ski holder and possibly a bike holder as well,
depending on which models you choose.  you will also have much more
flexibility in the future, should you decide to change your car, take up
a new sport, get married and sell it all =8), etc
