4kq GEARING question...again...

I asked what the diff. was between an early 4kq and a late, as far as the
gearing. I received tons of answers (thanks!!) Obviously, the later 4q's had
taller gears, but no one knows for sure whether this was a trans or
differential (or both) change. What I'd like is to get the taller gearing of
a later 4kq, but if it invloves replacing both diffs and the trans, I may
just deal with what I have. Does anyone know for CERTAIN what the
differences were? I heard that only the trans needed to be replaced, but
would like someones definite experience. Thanks in Advance!
