that is equivalent to saying,
"if she is so beautiful, why do you have to look at her every day?"
i suppose the correct way to answer is that they are so accurate because
they will be recertified every year and they don't want to replace them
every time.  you are more likely to get ripped off buying a gallon of milk
than a gallon of fuel.  around here, milk is twice as expensive...
