Diff recall(was recall)

I'm friends with the service mgr. at Audi of Huntington and he looked in
to the differential issue for me. You could try that. He told me that 85
and up, Audi made a mistake and did not include, as part of the regular
fluid checks, the diff fluid. The recall was just to drain and refill the
fluid. He suspected that possibly the fluid used was upgraded to prevent
boil off. Might be a good idea for the listers with trouble getting to the
bolt to just go to the dealer.
