Re:Tires for 5KQ

Dear Bob-
Lose the Turanza's - run don't walk & buy a set of Bridgestone Potenza
RE-930's from the Tire Rack (mail order) . You won't believe the price &
the tires are out of this world. I've had everk kind of high performance
tire on my German cars & these top them all @ 1/2 the price!

FYI. These tire have a very short sidewall height for better ride comfort I
recommend 205/65/15 instead of 205/60/15.

btw. To any one who is listening - do not under any circumstances put the
Dunlop D60 A2's(recently Top-Rated by Consumer Reports) on a 5KCSTQ - you
will want to push your car off a cliff afterwards. They have
single-handedly ruined the poise of one of the worlds great road cars.

FYI: Someone was seeking info on the GM A/C Controler Units. This is a
Cadilac part but the Delco OEM #'s do not match any GM part #'s we could
find for the US sourced unit. My mechanic took the old one apart and deamed
it unable to be serviced, way to complicated & not very sophisticated -
typical GM but you certainly can't bad-mouth their A/C compressors. They
are unbelievably good!!!
I think I paid about $ 325+ labor.
