BEWARE: 91 200 TQW FS {2}

Hi Folks,
    This specifically applies to the half dozen or so people who inquired
about this car. I could respond to you all personally, but I figured since
this car is probably still out on the market it applies to most people in
the U.S. {Sorry for the BW international Audi fanatics}

In my last post on the subject I mentioned that the I knew of a 20v Turbo
wagon floating around the Northeast with very low mileage but that had a
bad tranny. Here are the specifics:

91 200q Wagon
~70K miles
Midnight Blue

The body and interior is in excellent shape, the Tranny is making a racket.
The car is still driveable. I don't think the diagnosis of a shot tranny is
gonna be 100% correct. However you have been forwarned that the Tranny
needs some TLC. 

The car started at a Volvo dealership on trade (she didn't like how slow
the A6 wagons are). It has subsequently passed hands at least once. I
believe it's currently owned by a used car dealership. The contact name is
Steve. His phone number is (518) 465-4127.  Everyone (dealership wise)
locally knows about the car's problem so the seller might be in a
"firesale" situation. Otherwise the car has fairly complete maintainance
records and was driven by a Mom for it's entire life (thus far).

Anyway... I have absolutely no connection to this guy Steve nor any
interest in selling this car. I hope it finds a good home to someone on the
Q-list though. BTW, I found out what he paid for the car if anybody gets
close to closing a deal with him. I can't publish that on the list though.
