Yes, I noticed this also. (the camera at the intersection). I was in
SanFran last week for JavaOne and the shuttle bus driver pointed the
camera out and commented on not running the red light for fear of
getting caught.

BTW, I rented a car (GM from National :-() and drove around with my
wife on Sunday and we were getting good a picking out Audis! She
teased me for watching the cars at first, but she got into it as
the day went on. Having never been to the west coast, I was surprised
by the condition of older cars! I guess I'm just used to what the
Rochester winters do to cars! :-( Another observation is that those
darn'ed A4s grow on you after a while. Now I really want one! Perhaps
a used one in a few years... sigh...
