Sadly, it was either forged or used as a relay point (unauthorized). This
spammer "WorldTouch Network Inc." has been in operation for several years,
and that seems to be the only product they sell. The sad news is that to
this date, no one seems to know where the spam originate from. They seemed
to have mastered the way to relay the spam from several sites all over the
world.
Fact -- they're indeed located in California at the address mentioned in
the spam. Some people even found the phone number to that location, and
there are people who would answer "This is WorldTouch Network..." when
that number is dialed.
Bottom line -- if you get on to their spam list, prepare to get spam every
other day or so for just about rest of your life -- or until you change
the e-mail. Which is not easy for Dan, unless he decides the address of
the q-list should be changed. Or he can setup majordomo to accept only
e-mails from people who are sub'ed.
