Replacing speaker on Warning Bell Module ...

I recall someone posting their experience with replacing the speaker on
the warning module that reminds you when you leave the lights or stereo
on ... or leave the keys in the car.  I've got a module where the
speaker has been disconnected, but there are no terminals to which the
speaker can be connected ...

... I checked the archives, and found something that was supposed to be
in the 10/19/97 archive, but I can't seem to find the full text in the
archive itself!
