I also get about 18-19 mpg on my 1991 200 tq sedan.  Today, with almost 100%
freeway driving at 70 to 75, I got 22.2 mpg, and was damn happy!   Car is
stock, has 70k miles, synthetic oils, and is well maintained except for the
original ox sensor.
